To be fair its a good car I now know it's not leaking and drives well it's not the end of the world either way, it's about principle of a garage and a consumers rights if anything it means if I walk in with warranty work I expect it to be done correctly.

I'd struggle to find another with the same spec that's factory fit

My points of argument are

A. Supplied with a fault
B. Repair caused major leak possible engine and turbo damage it's the garage to prove otherwise within first 6 months of ownership

Are you going to get some cash back your way ? For what may occur / inconvenience

Well vehicle back drives as good as ever engineer report back leak fixed cars fine so kinda happy. But time will tell

To be honest it's just taken some of the gloss of what is a very good car, it drives great and it's factory spec is only missing xenons and a reversing camera and Bluetooth module it's got everything else.

It didn't blow a seal as I thought it was the oil filter housing after all it's now had a new one fitted correctly

Will just monitor it next few weeks
