massive slow down

dunno if anyone else has this problem but i find it's taking AGES to type relies in the quick reply box at the bottom of the page. haven't noticed it on any other board or forum. not an issue with memory or cpu as have been using laptop to access this site since i've registered here. using firefox latest version with xp.

currently it's faster for me to type this post using my iphone than the lappy.

any ideas?

Have you cleared the browser cache and temp internet files?

I haven't had any other complaints on this and closely monitor the response times of the site and everything has been normal  :confused:

Yup. The issue isn't with anything else except typing. I can browse the site just fine otherwise.

Have noticed similar on occasions. Not all the time. Sometimes it seems like its taking absolutely ages to render the box and icons.

Firefox 3.5.2
Mac Snow Leopard 10.6
