We've just bought our first ever Golf GTI - an 05 plate 5dr Diamond Black DSG.
Nice spec including leather, sunroof, xenons, RNS2 navigation + 6CD, lux pack 1 and park assist.
62k miles on it so not too bad.
As to be expected there are a few bits and bobs to sort;
Rear cup holder missing from armrest housing
Both front internal door handles need replacing
Drivers side rear door ashtray lid snapped, need to ashtray
Need to check diverter valve as it's our first GTI, we don't know what performance to expect, so i'll check it's ok
Probably need to replace the front doors electric window switches (a little scratched)
It has a Parrot MKi9200 fitted but the previous owner kept the screen and remote
so need to get new ones
Drivers side front door aluminium trim strip has lots of marks on so either need to wrap it or buy new
Boot floor liner required for dog (done off this site, thank you!)
Full body clay, machine polish and wax ready for winter
Minor stone chip touch ups
Need to buy a bottle opener so the front cup holders work
up to date satnav CD needed
cruise control retrofit required (this is essential!)
New floor mats (I'm thinking the genuine OEM GTI ones)
That should keep me busy.
Only problem it's for my wife
(but when my MINI Clubman Cooper D is finished on PCP, I can see a MK7 5dr DSG performance pack coming my way!!)
