5 door Mont blanc roof bars fit 3 door?

Recently purchased a pair of Mont blanc roof bars and fitting kit straight off a 5 door mk5. The front bar lines up and fits perfect on the front of my 3 door, but im unsure if the rear should or could fit?
Ive seen on the Mont blanc website they do an optional kit for some 3 door models but they state the mk5 doesnt need it?
