Loved it. Right up until the accident. Now it just doesn't feel the same and I no longer feel the same about it. My life feels empty now.  :sad1:

I felt like that after mine got broken into and it didn't feel the same for a while, I think having the skirts, votex, r32 rear and quads put on made me start really enjoying it again

I haven't had the feeling i get with my ED30 since i had my Stage 2 Mk2 RS2000 , sold that due to buying a house in 1987 .

I keep toying with the idea of selling it though (Why is that?) as i've had it 3 years now , but i know i will regret it . The Golf R is a natural progression but not worth the extra money (£12k plus) , i'm a tight @rse too  :innocent:

Keep trying to get my wife to change her Mini Cooper to something a bit different , she won't , apart from getting a newer one !

It makes me feel like I spend too much time at the petrol station.

But I still enjoy every time I drive it so that's what counts!
I know the feeling the man at the petrol station knows my name and allsorts :signLOL:

I LOVE IT!..

I used to own a 25th Anniversary 1.8T which had a few mods such a remap, intake and a few other suttle mods, IT WAS A THRILL TO DRIVE IT (at 18), after that I  had a E92 BMW, Audi A5 Convertible, and a E46 M3, I sold the M3 in June i think, and baught the MK5 GTI. I Swear, I feel as though im not missing out on the big bhp compared to the M3, I can still zip around London towns busy and small roads very quickly, and drive it like a OAP when I want to too!..

The Mk5 is suprisingly spacious in the back especially with my 3 Door! Petrol isnt to bad either 27/28mpg on vpower around town is great for me, and thats not being shy on the peddle either.. Well my M3 did give me 19mpg around town LOL!

EPIC (AND ITS NOT EVEN MAPPED YET)

Mine makes me feel like I'm having a mid life crisis  :signLOL:

7 years of owning various mk5 GTi's, and still don't feel the need to replace it.
