Thank you! I couldn't stand the stock bumpers.

Hopefully the skirts will be back soon and my centers will be painted :stupid:

Small update...

Centers fitted.



Wheels are dirty (as is the rest of the car) and the centers are clean so they appear to be a different colour but there not.

Skirts are smooth and painted so just need to find the time to stick the support strips on and fit them, can't wait to get them on.

So, I've finally managed to get the skirts on! Didn't bother using the support strips in the end and they've stayed on and fit fine so far...

Took a few pics of it when it was clean the other day.












I'm really pleased with how it looks now the skirts are on, but can't get the idea of having a real DSG GTI instead :rolleye: so I've put a few half assed adverts up for it to see if any takers come along. I'm not really sure if I would let it go now I've put all this effort into it but we shall see.

R32 rear lights would really finish it off :)

Off topic but how many different spoilers are available for the MK5's. I want to change mine for the Caractere one but they never seem to come up.

Nice work. Looks lovely on those wheels. I was considering a set for mine but used your photo to shop mine but not keen on my colour. So what's next?

Cheers for all the good comments guys!

Well, up next is leave it alone! But we all know that isn't going to happen lol. So I'll keep my eyes peeled for a TR GTI bootlid that's not a million miles away so I can benefit from the tinted rear glass as well as the spoiler.

I would like a remap but I'm not really to bothered about that just yet...

A couple of small splits but there only visible up close...


I'm really chuffed with how they turned out, I'll probably be doing the same thing with my original lights but maybe with led rings in the inners and outers.

Bit of a mass fitting day on Sunday so I'll update with more pics them.
