EP3 Type R is a good car but due to the lack of an LSD I'd say get an Integra type R instead. EK9 Type R is great as well but no way u will get one for sub 3K

My friend has a white type Ek9 think its a 2000 so later model... nearly 6k he paid for it... Mad in my eyes!

My ex had a 210bhp JCW Cooper S convertible. I looked like a big gay bear driving it, but it was bloody hilarious!! You can get them for around £3600 now, so the list is now:

JCW Mini
Clio 172 cup
Clio 182 (cup chassis)
Early Honda S2000 (bloomin' good shout)
Mk1 Ibiza Cupra

I've driven all but the Ibiza and 172 cup, so I'm going to find one to test drive. Aren't these the ones with all the safety mods removed and nicknamed the 'widowmaker'? I've driven a normal 172 which was pretty good. Is there a huge difference between it and the cup?

yep massive change its a lighter car and just drives a bit better so 172 cup all day long they did them in silver too but are pretty rare i think

what about a s2 106 rallye with the saxo vts mtr in it they are mad funny  :driver:

I toook a 182 out for a test drive not so long ago... I used to own one & loved it but having got back in one I instantly remembered why I got rid of it....


Clutch is sooooo heavy.
Seats are really high and the driving position is awful.
Head is about 3inches away from the windscreen.
NO mod cons.
Window wipers look like they are made of match sticks & are right in front of your face off.
Feels about as safe as a go kart.

But.... as a toy and soley as that all the above make it so much fun to drive :/

Daily driver - no.
Toy -  BIG YES!

No mod cons eh  :confused: they have air con,cruise control,xenon head lights,half leather seats and some have nav too plus they have multi function steering wheel  :signLOL: well it controls the cruise and the stereo

The 172 cup has nothing but 182 cup chassis does 182 trophy still has most mod cons I should know I have owned something silly like 6 Clio sports in all guises and still have a phase 1 Clio now
