I had one as first car and I loved it. Didn't like the poor starting when hot but what fun it was. Spent fortune in gt tuning.  Took me dad out scared the sh*t out of him and he sold it when I was on holiday because it said it was to fast for a first car!!!!!!! (barstewards) lol

Haha not good! I spent a fortune at eurocarparts Motorsport. Was a quick car! Hot start was the best..... Or starter clicking and having to put it in gear and rock car. Never did a head gasket and was running 20psi every day - daily driver :-)

Mine has always been a imperial blue Ford Escort Cosworth.

Same as that, albeit I wanted a Mallard Green car.

Hopefully one day, albeit I do wonder if it would be a classic 'never meet your heroes' car  :surprised:

Mondeo Ghia X in the 90's. Early A4 Quattro, Frank Biela'esque.

Then any Scooby WRX of any flavour for years after.

Then a Clio 182 around 2004 time, before I set eyes on the MK5 GTI
Then I bought a Golf Derv with overpriced clothing

My current car crush is the BMW 4 series, specifically in 430d guise...

Yeah must admit that was close to being my choice but I loved the 205 just before that. Still remember the first Escort Cossie I ever saw as a 17yr old in 1992, it was a Mallard green one and it took pride of place in CG Ford Carlisle's front window. Never actually been in one but know people who have and still to this day say they are a brilliant car.
If I ever won the lottery I have always said and still stand by it that it'd be the first big thing I bought.
