All of this stuff cost me about £280 and I got a hefty discount.

For what I did on someones car would be 2 full days and I would charge around £150.

Pro detailer you would expect to pay £300+ for a 2 stage around 85-90% correction and I would charge around this if I were doing it professionally with an si02 sealant.

Quick question regarding snow foaming. Before snow foaming do you hose the car down or snow foam a dry car?

Cheers

Andy

I would hose the car down first to remove any heavy surface contamination such as grit and stones etc.  :happy2:

I did that the first couple of times but the foam seemed to run off  too quick. So I the other way but during the summer the foam seemed to dry too quick. Cheers for the clarification.

Try changing your dilution ratios of your foam.. Not all foams cling for a long time. Some like Magifoam will stay for half an hour, others like Bilt Hamber Autofoam will only dwell for 6-10 minutes..
If you want longer dwell time you can add a drop of a foamy car shampoo but don't go adding too much.

I've been using chemical guys no touch. It says on the bottle to leave for 8 minutes from memory. My cars black and in the summer it seemed to be drying out after about 4-6 minutes so perhaps the the paintwork was too hot and if I rinsed the car first it might allow the paintwork to cool enough to allow the recommended dwell time. Any thoughts or advice?

As with anything nothing is an exact science. On hot days it would likely flash off more quickly yes.

As mentioned I would always rinse the car before using snowfoam but this is nothing to do with panel temperatures but to remove any loose dirt to allow the snowfoam solution to clean the vehicle to the best potential.
It's not really recommended to wash your car in direct sunlight or on very hot days (although everyone does it lol even me)

Maybe it's just when I'm looking on my phone then as they're definitely 3 I can't see!
The S3, the one about bumper and plastic restoration and then the g1 one as well.
I'll try on the laptop later though and see if that works.
