I've received a letter yesterday, even though I have got my plaque.   Never received a first letter but rang anyway after the number was posted on the internet  Might try and blag a second one now though .

if i bought my ed 30 second hand and it has no plaque do i qualify to get one (please tell me if this is a dumb question)

If you are the regestured Keeper on VW's database , then yes, but you need to go to your nearest dealer and get them to update your details from the cars previous keeper, (thats if you didnt buy the car from a VW dealership.)

I keep telling myself im going to sort this out but still haven't done so.  Im the 2nd owner of my car and im unsure of the database status.  I still dont know my ED30 number either.

Got a letter a few days after I had sold it 


Still rang up and confirmed it for the new owner, might get it quicker than them to pass it on. I will update the list when I get the build number.
