Oil cap

Well my car has decided to lose another oil cap can anyone help why this is happening. It seems to somehow snap the top of the cap so am unable to open it

It's usually the engine cover is slightly misaligned due to a rubber bung has split or mount slightly unscrewed / snapped.

It can also be the fire blanket shield under the bonnet has come away and grabbing the oil cap, check both :happy2:

Misaligned engine cover normally.
Mine came apart but I managed to clip it back together.

My engine cover is lose. That must be it what a barstewards. Hopefully get an
Induction kit soon so so away with it then that two in about two months now :-(

No doubt mate... don't replace the top, just keep it in the glovebox when required (they snap back on), as it will only come off again, and could end up in the rad fans. :happy2:

Defo up for standard not feeling shiny ones. Too expensive to lose and bonnet never open for show
