What year is your car? I read all the posts on here on DV's, and bought the latest revision for my March '08 car, only to find it had the latest version already fitted!
No biggie though, at least I know it has been checked and is all ok!

My old one was a 2005 and I replaced it because it was split and I've just bought a 2007 ed30 just trying to find out if this will already have the updated one on

^^^^ All Mk5 Turbo'd cars can suffer with leaking Diverter Valves. As you have an Eddy, pop the DV off and have a look, its a 2 minute job as its right at the front and top of the engine bay, 3 Torx screws and bobs your mothers brother. Your original one would probably have been a Revision C so its worth checking and replacing with a Revision G.

IMO for £35 its an item that should be changed once a year at service time.

When replacing the DV, just don't drop the bolt/screw that fits the DV bracket to the block like I have....twice  :ashamed:
Fat fingers and working on the 2.0t don't go together!!!
