Wasnt to bad really... worst bit was the bit from Perth-Edinburgh on the way back. Torrential rain = standing water = aquaplaning  :scared:

I used some of the same roads a few years ago - spectacular.  Google says 8 hours and 20 mins; care to 'fess up? !



Shadow blue DSG 5 door with leather, sunroof, 18" Monzas, MFSW. 
Full list of mods:  Seat inserts and a VW bottle opener.  Each worth 20bhp.

Awesome. Did something similar across Wales a couple of months back in the M-Lite. Same weekend as the WRC, so most the roads were desserted.

Seems a lot of guys on here would rather keep the miles down on their GTI's and spend a day polishing rather than driving them  :confused:- at least it helps to keep the roads quiet for the rest of us  :driver:

Doesnt take into account the 2.5 hours it took me to get there and 2.5 hours back.  :signLOL: I had to get back home to feed the dogs, was still out for 9-10 hours though.
