CW edition 30 price
« on: January 08, 2014, 02:17:46 pm »
Going to an auction tonight & there's a 2007 candy white edition 30 for sale. Manual, 3 door with 42,000 and 5 stamps in the service book. Unsure of spec ATM, what sort of price would be cheap if the car was a good one, sub 10K?

id say 10-11k, white ones seem to be holding the weight up on on the price.

Sounds Nice!

Edition 30 prices seem to be firming up. I sold mine this time last year for 10500. Would prob be worth £11,000 plus now.

What would be seriously cheap for the car I've mentioned, around 9K?

Cheap is anything less than 10k i'd say. dont forget to factor in costs like logbook if lost which is common on repo cars, fees and a GOOD mechanical check over the car to ensure everything is as it should be before you drive it.

Used to deal with auction cars all the time and in my experience no matter how good it looks on the block there will always be a couple of things to do, big or small no exceptions.

Good luck chap, let us know how you get on.

Question the reason its at auction , generally bodywork will be an issue as this si the most expensive to rectify for retailers

Another problem with getting a bargain at an auction, is the risk of getting home and discovering problems you wasn't aware of. Good luck though if you get a CW Edition 30 for around the 10k mark with no issues.

Dealers recently offered me 7500 for my CW 3 door manual 42,000 mile 1 owner car. With Xenons and roof..
Didn't accept their offer.

You will also find there will have been a Dentmaster/repair type go over the car and hide all the blemishes . Most Car auctions i have attended have this service available on site . If you haven't been and bidded before the auctioneer will notice you as being a newbie , its not the easy way to a bargain that everyone thinks .  :innocent:
