iv worked 4miles round trip from my house.. kinda keeps the mileage down

all you get is water warmed up....

though I used to take the car to go the grocer's a kilometer away, instead of taking tram (20 meters away from my house door) or walking. Of course, all such short trips eventually turned into much longer trips. I'd go around Zurich lake for no particular reason - that's 100km....

I think you guys should be evicted from this forum, unless you have    another GTI which you drive the way it is supposed to be driven, miles and miles and miles

Nope no other GTI, just a diesel for work when Im not on a lift share or the occasional bicycle in (21 miles round trip!)
