Was the car used daily or was it stood for long periods of time before it went flat?
Beginning to think that it isn't worth doing now, sounds like a lot of arsing about!

When i had my 2006 MK5 Jetta and fitted an RCD510 it only took one really cold evening to drain the battery. When i say cold, it was -10 with 2ft of snow on the ground!
