As funny at times as it was, yet ANOTHER Top Gear episode without a single new car reviewed.... AGAIN!!!

Thinking exactly the same!
Other than the 80's yobbing, I didn't enjoy it... If they ACTUALY compared them to the modern equivalents it would have been brilliant...

I agree Marc. Brought back some memories haha.

NAIL ON HEAD!

As it stood, garbage. No longer a show about cars except the odd episode dedicated to super cars no one can afford.....

It falls under the 'entertainment' umbrella. Not the 'auto journalism' one.

It was what i expected it to be like - Was i disappointed ? - Yes

The Nova/XR2/GTI thing ran through the whole programme and it never once compared the three cars to modern day equivalents (the hill climb thing wasn't really as all three cars were crap condition etc) So what really was the point ? Was it entertaining , a little but the b eing chased by the police bit was too long and rather pathetic .

Will i watch the next programme ? Yes of course as what other motoring shows are there - very few - surprised something else hasn't appeared to compete or rival Top Gear

I thought it was boring - we all know when they buy cars for these challenges thay are going to be A- sh*te and B Break down a lot , its been done so many times before , the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car thing has ran its course as well tbh - I want to see more new car reviews , even if its things I will never be able to afford , thats when TG shines.
