What was with the shonky looking rev counter??

I agree I dont think the guages suited the rest of the car but most modern hyper cars accelerate so so violently that that conventional analogue clocks cant keep up with the real time speed this is the case with the Lexus LFA. Mclaren are fastidious with detail and technology so this Is why I assume they opted for this style of digital clock arrangement!

Agreed and on cars like the LFA etc they look great, but just thought it looked really dated!

I liked the ep except for blunt. He's already been on it and it's not the first time he's bleated on about stopping WW3.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I don't like these "Top Gear Special" episodes, waste of time IMO.

Spot on! My folks said 'how much is this costing the licence payer' - as I said, I'd rather it is spent on this than some of the other dross BBC put out...

Burma looked beautiful, that's for sure...

For the most of it seemed staged and then you get the really funny parts (bridge braking) that are clearly unplanned, marrows called F*ck, Captain slow picking a right lemon of a truck and Jezza tilting the crane, all of which made me Loll Out Loud!!

What's in store for next week??
Well worth the licence fee  :happy2:
