Hi guys hoping someone on here can give me a comprehensive guide to how to fit the led sidelights i bought for my mk5 gti. They are supposed to be plug and play. Ive searched the internet but nothing comprehensive. Never fitted anything myself on the car so a complete noob

Take the rubber cap off, pull the orange lamp holder out, swap the bulbs, put them back. Try not to tug on the wires too much.

It's a bit of a fiddle on factory xenons.
The sidelights are on the outside of the lights, bit difficult to explain but when you take the rubber cap off the back of the headlight you can reach in with your fingers and feel wires going into 2 different bulbs. Pull on the wires on the outside set and the bulb should just pull out.

It's very fiddly yes as I had the same problem changing my sidelights on my factory xenons, but it's as Luka described above.
