Edition 30 - how much?
« Reply #2 on: September 12, 2013, 12:56:38 pm »
I have the car bug, with a real hankering to upgrade to a Golf R. Trade offers are coming back at around 7 - 7.5K but I know full well I'm going to have to sell privately if I want to make this a serious reality. So I'd appreciate people opinions on what my car maybe worth:

MKV Golf GTI Edition 30 (No. 426)
3DR, Manual
Steel Grey (Metallic)
2007 (March)
73,500 miles
FVWSH (next service due at 82,000)
MOT March 2014
Xenon's
RCD 510 with MDI in glove box (iPod adapter inc.)
Excellent condition (may try and upload photos over the weekend once cleaned)

I was hoping to get £9K, is this being realistic?

canbus gateway
« Reply #7 on: October 07, 2013, 05:05:55 pm »

Can somebody please shed some light on the model number for the canbus gateways.

I have a revision H and it will need upgrading before installing my new rcd510.

I have found a few on ebay but am not clear on the revision model as they all seem to have different types of codes. There are usually a few letters in the code so which one shoild I be looming at? The ones I have found on ebay are:

1K0907530F

7N0907530R

Will either of these solve the battery drain issue?

Thanks for any advice

... that an rns 510 with star button is led?

Part number on top of unit is a 1t0 035 680c

Also anyone know how I can get the code? The previous owner of the car had it on the card but lost it.

First of all I wish all Blockbuster staff the best following news that all stores are likely to close.

It might be an old fashioned way of watching films, but we often enjoyed picking up a chart blueray at the weekend. Only watch probably 2 a month.

What is the alternative now? I like the idea of some kind of on demand service, as have a smart TV, but what is best for the latest films? Heard that the likes of Netflix don't have recently released films.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Cheers
