Is there really much space to be gained by limiting PMs to 75 though? They are saved in text format in the db.

They are all quite small files, but once added up it does create quite a lot of wasted space.  The smaller the database the less we potentially have to spend on the server size.

In all seriousness ive only just seen this so ill get to it in the morning and have a clear out :happy2:

Well done on the forum by the way guys, its certainly helped me spend alot of money in the past. Hope it keeps on going for some time to come :happy2:

Its definitely running faster though, took me ages to load the pages up before.

I must be unpopular, I've only had 296 PMs.
Then again, most if it is simply people asking questions or querying things I've had for sale.. so there's no harm really in losing anything.
