Arm Rest R/F
« on: October 01, 2009, 12:58:39 pm »
Guys,

Currently got the following layout centre console (the most basic one with no options).

If I purchase the following, will I be able to retrofit it or are there other parts that I'll require I.E. a new centre console? :
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170369997903&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Pics of current layout below:

I've got a copy of the arm rest retro fit .pdf but tbh, I can't think for a minute I'd need a whole new console + ash tray section? It doesn't unfortunately refer in here to the current setup, i.e. other pre-requisites. Hopefully a new console isn't the case.

I'm grateful of any pointers.

Thanks,
Pete.

That armrest in the link will go in fine with your current setup you may just need a new a/c pipe from the front centre console to the armrest but I think there only £6-7.

Dont just jump in and buy that one though they do come up quite frequently on ebay for alot cheaper.

Cheers Darren. I'm not too fussed about the a/c working in the rear vents.
What did you mean could be found a lot cheaper, the a/c pipe or arm rest?

Have you tried the breakers ?.

I have and haven't GH. I'm based in Northants and all the local ones (Raunds, N'town etc) all pointed me towards ebay. They all gave me the impression that the days of turning up with fist fulls of cash and ripping what you wanted off the cars are gone.

If you can recommend anywhere near me on the other hand, then I'd certainly give it a tug. Thanks.

^ Will do Caz.

Where could I source the A/C grills if I didn't purchase them with the arm rest?
