rns510 and arm rest mdi...poor sound quality when using mdi

Hi I've tried searching and found a few answers but just to clarify Il ask here to... Right last weekend I fitted a rns510,brilliant and much better than my mfd2 which is now in her gt tdi. Yesterday I fitted a arm rest mdi and it's again brilliant, every thing works and all displays on my highline but the sound quality from mdi is piss poor... I've tried cd and sd card and there fine so to is hdd and radio...any help on to finding  a solution please

check the settings on the rns

you want to change aux to low

Done this and it's still terrible..

are you sure the 3 wires that go into the 510 are the correct way round, when i did mine a very long time ago i found i got them wrong and had to have a little swap around, all way a lot better after, might be worth a try.

Loads of extra's and retro fits.

going from RCD300/500 t RCD310/510/RNS510.

Requires two of the wires to be swapped around while the 3rd wire needs to be relocated to a new pin.
