What are console bushes and how much to replace.

When I took my car to VW for a service (on a service plan so didn't pay their standard stupid prices) they said my front console bushes were cracked....what are console bushes? Are they just wishbone bushes with a fancy VW name and how much should I expect to pay to get them replaced? Cheers in advance.
