Snow foaming help. Quick question please.
« on: March 08, 2014, 08:25:17 pm »
Evening all. After the advice on here I got a nilfisk pressure washer and autobrite snow foam lance and their matching wash. I used it today and this was the result.

I mixed about an inch in the bottom of the bottle the. Topped it with warm water and sprayed. It lasted about 5 minutes then most of it had run off. I was under the impression it would stay on for a lot longer ???  Have I got the mixture and quantities right. Also how much of the bottle do you use per car.

just alter the settings on the lance. the front.part ant the dial on the top. (red bits)

you can get it to spray quite thick with the right settings

make sure that your applying the SF to a dry car (if i remember correct)

Also the PW will make a massive difference to the length of time the SF dwells on the car.. as will the level of polish/wax thats on the car already

I use a wee K2 at home, and the foam is good when i use about 2" in the bottle.. my father in law has a massive K7 washer and with the same amount of concentrate in the bottle you could foam it in the morning and come back in the afternoon and it'll still be hanging about!

Hi buddy,

Dont fill the bottle all the way with water, stay around 2" down from the top, also try using warm water as it sticks better.

all foams are different from reviews some AB foams don't hold for very long so keep trying untill you find one you like :D

+ is more water less foam
- is more foam less water

Turn it all the way to - and then back a quarter of a turn :D
