West London/North London Coilover fitting
« on: March 11, 2014, 10:00:02 am »
Coils are coming today and I would like to know if anyone has anywhere they would recommend for me to go and fit them for a good price. So far the cheapest price that I got is £150 but if anyone knows somewhere that can beat that please let me know.

location must be in west london or north london as I'm too lazy to drive far lol

I got mine done recently with Yaash Motorsport near Wembley, it's actually just off Hanger lane roundabout on the North Circular.

Charge between £80 - £90 IIRC.

Are those prices for fitting and adjusting up and down till you like how it sits or just straight forward fitting?

Wow this is soooo cheap!
I was quoted £200 to fit and adjust + £75 for the alignment from the sam indy that charged me £320 for cambet inc genuine parts!
I am based in the sticks in Somerset tho.

Mk5 Jetta 2.0l Tdi 140 se Apex RDX coilovers, BBS VZ003, Skyline tails, Genuine Xenons more to come

Yaash were the cheapest quote I got for fitting my coilovers.
Yes they're cheap, but their service was amazing.
They have a decent workshop with car ramps and their mechanics are well clued-up.

I was a bit cautious due to their prices, but I can honestly say their service was amazing.
My top mounts bolts kept spinning and the mechanic spent a while trying to pry them out, but got there in the end, they got on the phone to EuroCarParts and got a new set sent out within the next 15 minutes.

They adjust the coilovers once fitted, they have no issues with adjusting the ride height till you're satisfied.
In all honesty, I would definitely continue going there, the staff are nice and polite and they look after your car. What more could you ask for?

Plus you get to see a few well built mk1 and mk2 golfs they own. Kept me entartained while I waited for the coilovers to be fitted and adjusted.
Only criticism is that they don't do wheel alignments / tracking there, so you'd have to get that done elsewhere.

You'd want to do some driving on them before you align it anyway.. probs a few days/20-30 miles to let everything bed in.
