strange sidelight problem
« on: March 22, 2014, 06:49:35 pm »
Ive been having some weird issues with my sidelights. the other day the dash light came on for a broken bulb so i checked and it was a side light, i checked the bulb and it was fine so i put it back in and reset the fault code (as i believe the car cuts power to the bulb when its gone?) it started working again however now the other side has stopped working :/ any ideas? cheers

Change the bulbs and get the car scanned for any fault codes.

I've had this.. it's basically a sign that the filament is loose or just about to fail completely within the bulb. If you don't change them now, you probably will have to in the next couple of weeks  :happy2:
