so apparently statler said they can put me the stage 2 on without a decat for the time being :/because theres not much difference apart from switching the lamba sensor off..

has any body had any experience with stage 2 from revo?

Stage 2 does not need a decat exhaust. It only need a downpipe and sports cat

I'm running an Ebay special downpipe and have been for ages now, AKS modified it slightly though by adding a bigger flexihose

Depends how you drive.... Same as any other clutch! If you are kind to it it will be kind to you! My old s3 did 85k before I changed the clutch, a good 60k of that was with a stage 2 remap

It's very common for a eBay special De cat to produce lots and lots of clutch slip....so bad in fact I removed mine and now it's perfect :-)

It comes down to the way the car is mapped. A smooth delivery which has been setup to the cars hardware should be better for the clutch. Its the map that requests the torque, a free-er flowing downpipe/de-cat is allowing the maps request to be met
