Newbie from East Sussex!
« on: March 30, 2014, 10:49:54 am »
Hi all got my mk5 back in November and I love it been wanting one ever since I passed my test, paid £8450 with only 43k on the clock and in spanking condition will post pics soon! Only problem so far is some idiot has obviously reversed and hit my front bumber, not hard but it's caused to cracks in the plastic the not very visible but I know there there! Can it be repaired? Or is a new bumber in order? Any help appreciated and look forward to contributing to the forum!

plastics can be welded or glued depending how bad is it. i am sure any body shop can do it but it may cost same as another second hand bumper in your colour. ...

Cheers for the warm welcome  my gti's just standard at the mo,  got heated leather seats 18" monza's the only thing I've added is a parrot bluetooth kit but I'm pretty much happy with the standard look! I love the black but it's a bugger to keep clean lol the only thing I'm thinking is getting a re-map but holding back just incase I need any work doing but so far so good! I'm down in bexhill got the car from a dealer in Canterbury, I'll get some more pics up as soon as I've given her a clean only done it last week but the Sahara ruined it!
