Just do the test I wrote above mate they don't do a replica bi xenons kit.
Both main and dipped beam will be done of the projector lense on genuine oem xenons.
And on the depot they will be next to each other dipped in the projector lense and main in the open cluster next to it

Depending if the xenon's have been retrofitted will depend on wether the bi xenon will be active. Some Cars don't have a highline cecm.

If they are on a factory fitted golf they should have auto leveling. The ballast's are attached underneath, You should be able to see them. Also, you'll be able to tell xenon's to hid's or normal halogen.

Lol ok.
Turn the the lights on normally so take it from auto and twist it twice clock wise.
Then get someone to flash the high beam.
If when they flash the same projector which is illuminated will brighten. Or if it's not coded in will probably flicker or do  nothing there genuine.
Depot will have a separate bulb come on in a different location on the light

Or pop the bonnet and check the multiple wires coming out the rear screw case. Xenons won't have this!

Look at the dashboard. If there's no manual leveling scroll wheel then the car came from the factory with xenons (or someone went to a lot of trouble retrofitting the whole system).
Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.

Just because you think you know something, doesn't make you an expert if you've just read it on the internet, y'know.
