Canbus Gateway Programming
« on: March 30, 2014, 07:03:13 pm »
Hi I have just bought a 2005 Golf 2.0 GT TDI, the stereo is pretty pants and I want to get a new one which i can connect my iPod to.

I want to stay OEM so looking at a RCD 510/310 or similar to replace it.

I have done some research and know i need to also buy a new Canbus Gateway, I don't have access to VCDS/Vag-Com to programme it in but is there anyone local to me that could do this? (Milton Keynes Area)

Thanks in advance

Get your message count up and drop Eddie-NL a line, he is the guy to talk to and can provide you with a precoded Gateway.

Thanks for the tip mate, a precoded one would be even easier. I am a more regular user on Uk-mkivs.net as i used to have a mk4 and have asked on there too.
