Cheers mate, it can/should only get better. After fitting the RNS510 on weds I was determined to get the front and rear OPC showing up up the display. After a full hour mucking about with VCDS I finally achieved it. Had to activate the full extra/secret menu in the Radio Adaptations (Channel 50 value 1).

Chuffed it's all working now.

Next job is to fit the microphone for voice control and my newly acquired 7P6 035 730 Rev J Bluetooth Module. :happy2:

It's the little things that make the difference. Set of new badges to go on the car; front, rear and wheel caps  so far:

Indeed. Getting mixed reviews of Super Škoda, delivery and quality. Will probably order it and get it painted gloss black.

Glad another has joined the CR170 TDI engine club Dodds  :happy2: :drinking:

I genuinely think it's a cracking engine. 18 months in and with a stage 1 Revo tune, I'm very impressed and made the right choice to have an equally 'fast' but cheaper to run car than my MY06 k03 GTI.

The vRS looks really well trimmed and suits red very well.
The new grille looks great!

I thought you were serious about the theft of the original one at first  :surprised:

Look forward to the progression  :happy2:

Looking good, I've just colour coded the grille on my vRS and changed all the badges, having mine lowered this week too  :happy2:

Cheers mate. Tempted to get a cheap second hand one, and get it properly de-chromed and matte painted. Think I went a little thin on the Plastidip.

Beauty of Plastidip though, can always peel, and start again!! :jumpmove:

Stunning Vrs :happy2:. I've always loved Octavia's and I looked at one, but got my Jetta. They really are great looking cars and especially in red. Good work so far and look forward to the updates :happy2:

The Octavia is gone, long live the Octavia!!

Jokes, whilst it's in at GTI World this week I've been given a courtesy car. I have a smile on my face most of the time driving it. I can't believe how tiny it is, how wobbly it is and how weird it feels to drive. Don't mind it for the daily commute but it is amazing how little there it to the car. Would not like to involved in a RTA with a HGV. :scared: thankfully the other half doesn't like it. At all! Pretty nippy for a 3 cylinder. Not sure it it's a 1.0 or 1.2. Must be about 7-800kgs all in. Will go look it up now.
