Done speeding

I got flashed by a camera doing 38mph in a 30 a couple of weeks ago. I admitted to being the one driving.

Anyway I have done the speed awareness course 2 years ago so knew that wasn't an option.
Got a letter through saying 3 points and £100 fine!?

I always thought it was £60??

Has this changed? Seems ridiculous... Obviously I have no choice but to pay it but Christ I always thought it was £60

I thought it was £60.  Never been fined for speeding as I don't speed :evilgrin: I have been flashed by the cameras on the A64 near ASDA a few times but never fined :surprised:

You guys not got the speed camera database on your RNS?

I use mine to give an indication of the road ahead particularly if it's a new route  :evilgrin:

Worked a charm so far  :driver:

I have the latest database if needed  :happy2:

Not got the RNS in my Ed30

Just been reading about the increase in fine... barstewardss

Seems a massive hike from £60 to £100

Yes all £60 fines have increased to £100 not just speeding.

Agree you shouldn't be speeding in a 30.. But some 30's shouldn't be 30's and that's where you will usually find a speeding van.. Because they know they will have the speeding offences flocking.. barstewardss the lot if them
