What Bluetooth unit RNS510
« on: April 09, 2014, 08:29:36 pm »
Hi all,

Done the usual research and I'm now looking for a Bluetooth unit that connects with the RNS510 and works with both the MFD and steering wheel controls.

What's the favoured brand at the moment VW or Fiscon  :rolleye:

I''ll be looking to get one fitted in the following week  :happy2:

if you want VW only one will work straight off with the MFD its an old skoda one that doesn't support audio streaming.

if you want a newer VW unit it can be displayed in the MFD with an extra unit

if your interested i have a bluetooth unit for sale here

I have the Fiscon Basic Plus fitted in my car. It's a good piece of kit, and as said comes with the add on which gives loads of basic engine functions in the Highline display, such as boost pressure (if relevant), oiul / water temps, and loads of other stuff.

Having said that I have  the Bury CC9060 unit in the van (VW use the same kit as a dealer fit bluetooth unit, rebranded as VW) and it's also excellent. Has its own touchscreen, voice control etc. and works flawlessly.
Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.

Just because you think you know something, doesn't make you an expert if you've just read it on the internet, y'know.

I have a place on standby to supply and fit at a good price.

Looks like the Fiscon unit wins  :happy2:
