Tried to drop my car a little bit more tonight, after abit of heat and alot of banging, ive managed to undo the bottom locking collar on my front coilovers, but the collars that sit under the springs is seized solid,
Im after replacment collars, as im going to have to cut these ones off now

If you get in contact with fk and explain what part you need from what kit they will be able to sell you just that. I had to cut a collar off a previous set of coilover and got a replacement collar for around about £25 with postage from Germany ofcourse.

Has anybody seen these type of lockrings

http://www.fk-shop.de/en/Suspension-Tuning/Coilovers-Accessories/Locking-ring-with-shear/Locking-rings-for-coilover-suspension-Set-of-2-oxid-1.html

Just wondered how they work? As i Carnt see a thread inside the collar.
I dont see how just clamping it in place would hold work!!
