Possible to fit Dual Zone Climatronic into a car without it?
« on: April 17, 2014, 09:21:22 am »
Just picked up my new (to me) GT TDI and having come from the GTI with dual zone, I miss the look and the options of that setup!

Is it possible to swap out the standard climatronic system and surround and replace with the dual zone? And if so, will it just be a case of plug and play or will there be a lot of changes I need to make?

Cheers in Advance

Ed

It is possible but barely anyones actually done it as whole dash needs to come out, and new sensors, wiring, airbox, etc need to be plumbed in. Lots of labour and not very cost effective. Most people found it easier to buy a car with it already in it!

Best of luck whatever you decide on doing!!  :happy2:
