I wouldn't mind being sacked for under performance and then being in line for 10 million quid payout (daily mail amount of money quoted mind you )

Wouldn't be surprised if Wenger or Pellegrini depart at the end of the season pending results.

Can't see Wenger going if we maintain the 4th spot TBH.

4th place at Arsenal is seen as a successfull season though  :signLOL:

Guillem Balague thinks Van Gaal will be the best fit for United, that bloke usually talks sense and would agree that him or Klopp would be best for going forward.

Whoever gets the job can start to build a team with the £200m transfer kitty.

Left back
Right Back
Centre Back
Defensive midfielder
Attacking Midfielder

£200m Should be about right to sort that out!

A successful season is finishing above Tottenham.  :innocent:

Don't think we're that far off the pace. Defo need a few more able bodies. 2 or 3 quality players would put things right.

As good a player as he is, i dont think he is the right player for us. Rooney, RVP, Mata n Kagawa sounds pretty formidable on paper but theyll never work in the same team.

All them years of man utd saying " we don't sack our managers " yeah that's easy to say when you were successful but the minute sh*t didn't go there way bang they sack him, they called every other club down the years when they sacked their managers and they thought they were better than any other club, this just shows they no better than anyone.

Man utd 'fans' and I use the word fans very VERY lightly think they have a god given right to be at the top hahaha get used to it boys no CL for years in my books the competition is much stronger now with the likes of Liverpool etc and IMHO ferguson knew this and left to preserve his status.

Guillem Balague thinks Van Gaal will be the best fit for United, that bloke usually talks sense and would agree that him or Klopp would be best for going forward.

That continues to fu** me off a little - the automatic premonition that these top, young, European managers are going to want to leave their high flying domestic leagues for Manchester United in a flash.

You have to firstly analyse;

- Who would WANT to work with the Glazers, a group that continues to have a questionable and relatively unknown passion of interest in the Premier League and also who looks set to give their new managers around 10 months to acquire trophies?
- One of the main reasons anything previously went to United was because of the facilities/setup, history and SAF. One of those key factors has gone, so Utd aren't the most appealing destination for players/coaches/officials anymore, whatsoever.
- Who wants to inherit that squad, the transfer funds aside? It was widely agreed by the football world a desperately overachieving squad for 2/3 seasons, one which was clearly superbly motivated and coached by SAF and team. There are no stars really left, Mata/De Gea aside.
RVP is very likely to go and Rooney is in the departure lounge of his career even at £300k a week.
- Why would or will a Jurgen Klopp leave what is a fantastic feeder club at Dortmund where he's likely to be on a superb package, with a more or less guaranteed Champions League finish season in, season out in the Bundesliga? They've been known recently to shock Bayern in cups and the league to silverware, not forgetting. Today's Man United is unlikely to offer that sort of challenge/silverware on a plate. United will be a hard slog for the top four even if they invest and the chances are, that manager has one to two season maximum to perform, as you're ultimately STILL replacing the irreplaceable. The Moyes stint will be forgotten given the track record of whoever comes in next and the pressure HUGE once again, with months to turn it into a performing & motivated squad.

I nearly fell about laughing when a friend said "the only one the fans will really be satisfied with is Pep Guadiola".

Better organise his plane to Manchester this minute then cause I'm sure he can't wait to leave Bayern

A bit bitter towards Utd's past success?

All these clubs are are working to protect/improve revenue streams. MUFC has higher expectations than most other clubs in the PL, it would be the same at the other 'big' clubs too.

The succession of Ferguson hasn't been handled smoothly but this isn't the first time Ferguson has announced he would finish, who knows how much notice the board was given. He was 71 as well...

Competition is as tough as ever with 6-7 teams in with a realistic chance of a top 4 finish next season.

Ferguson hasn't publicly criticised the Glazers ownership as far as I'm aware. Ultimately it was the row over the Rock of Gibraltar which led to the Glazers (aka the Greediers) take over.

No not at all I've grown up with man utd winning major cups etc it's just the normal to me, I just don't like the club in general tbh and I'd be surprised if people didn't agree with what I said.

Been telling my mate the same thing mentioned earlier for years. United have been lucky for the last 3 seasons and they've now been found out. They've had a piss poor team and the only thing getting them to the top was a manager fully equipt to ensure results went in Manure favour.

Oh how I love this situation Manure are in.
