One last time....leather seats
« on: April 22, 2014, 10:41:01 pm »
Right I'm after some help for the last time, I've found some seats that are from a 2005 that are eletric lumbar support and heated but manual adjust, my car is a 2004 with just manual standard seats will I get any problems with the airbag lights

I know the heated and Eletric lumbar support won't work without wiring it up

No problems with airbag wiring. The wiring of airbag is simple plug and play job. Just dont be unplugging with the ignition on and you wont get warning lights

Can anyone else confirm this for me airbag will be fine, and I'll just leave the heated an Eletric lumbar support not plugged in ??

Its a no brainer! .. Yellow plug is the airbag, The slim black connector with 2 wires is for seat occupied sensor (if fitted) . Long as you plug them in youll have no errors.

Nothings gonna go bang or break doing this.. PM Eddie-NL if you want confirmation. :happy2:

As long as you don't turn ignition on while airbag wiring is disconnected, that will cause airbag light to come on.
My guide on fitting heated seats has some pics of the wiring plug if it helps.
See how to thread.
