I want to dewiper mine but scared I'll pop the glass like me and a friend did on his Saxo a few years ago  :booty: what have you treated the rear glass with to help with rain and muck as obviously visibility is virtually gone now during stormy whether

I have just waxed it for now, should be sufficient for  the summer, was fine on the Polo, will probably get some nano glass sealant at some point though.  I was worried about removing the wiper arm, as on the polo it was stuck fast...but I just loosened the nut, popped on my ball joint splitter and it came off really easily

Every time I see one of these glass dewipered mods it makes me want to do mine more and more. Where'd you get the glass blank/grommet from?
Oh and car looks nice by the way. Nice mods.  :happy2:

Snow foam Sunday! Gave the car its first proper wash and polish today.  Found lots of tar spots...any ideas on the best products to help sort them?

Debadged the rear...gotta love a smooth ass

............for the tar spots, Autosmart tardis tar & glue remover. You can find 500ml & 1000ml bottles on  ebay.(get mine off there.) :happy2:

So the power steering symbol didnt go...turns out my ABS pump was screwed, along with some wiring.  So the car spent 2 weeks in the garage and cost lots of pennies...but its fixed now.

Did an epic 5 hr round trip to pick up a fully smoothed GTI front bumper...bump strips and splitter smoothed in.  Needs a bit of tlc before fitting though, so in no hurry to get this fitted.

I will just leave this here
