Projector style front fog light

Hi All

Are the projector style fog lights found on earlier Mk5's a direct fit for later non projector style fog lights?

I know the lamp is different and I have a loom coming from the states but some of the versions I have seen appear to have different mounting points  :rolleye:

The insides are also black, is there a variant with the silver inners available?

Just trying to compliment the Xenons  :happy2: and I think these will finish them off nicely

I've recently fitted a set. They were on earlier mk5's but gti are a different fitment to the other models as the fittings are longer

As above - a lot I see for sale are for non-gti models. The mounting points are different, and the angle of the front cover is different.

It's a pain as I'm after a set of new projectors for the gti, and all I can find are ones for other models. I don't really want to go to VW to pay huuuuge prices, but I'd like OEM!

Hi Dave,

I'm in the same position searching for ages but getting no joy. I'm a bit of a purist so I can see myself going down the OEM route  :sick: if I find anything in the meantime I'll give you a shout  :happy2:

The projector fogs where standard fit on uk Tourans and same fitting has golf. Buy the plugs and change them over? Cheaper than paying for a full loom and swapping it all out.
