Thanks for that @lukemk5gti I must admit I have been hawking it lol

admittedly I knew when buying a GTI I wouldn't get diesel like MPG anyway but didn't want there to be something wrong and I was ignoring it.

The cold weather definitely has an impact... tank to tank currently I'm getting 34, in the summer I got 37. 70% of the time it's cruising at 50 in 6th in traffic, hence the higher figures.
