Edition 30 - Advice please.
« on: October 19, 2009, 04:01:35 pm »
I posted here not too long ago regarding s3 v Ed30, where both deals fell through for me, I was gazumped on the S3 and put off on the Ed30 due to incorrect front lights.

So here we go again, I have seen this on and can get it for £17750, 08 plate with 6K on clock.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/794227.htm

What do you guys think, I am on brink of laying down a deposit. It is apparently mint not even a stone chip as it was owned by an old couple.

Advice appreciated.

Kevin

That looks lovely!

If I had the choice again I'd have a Reflex Silver! I'd go for that one, looks mint  :happy2:

Plus as they are a trader you have some come back should you have a problem.

I'd echo what greenhouse has already said - looks like a good buy. Go see it and get a deposit laid down. Being a trader does give you some assurances too, always worth an HPI check mind  :happy2:

When i was looking for my CW Ed 30, i also considered this one. I never went to see it, but wondered why it had been up for sale weeks and weeks given its mileage and "mintness". Go and have a look, check it out thoroughly and if everything seems ok - GO FOR IT!!

Looks brand new, very nice. But I don't think it has a MFSW, may eat away at you later.

Sorry, but had to laugh at this! Mine doesn't have a MFSW and i'm still a complete person!  :P
I wasn't aware the MFSW was a "must have" option - am i missing something here?
Please enlighten me

I am told that it is virtually brand new, no marks at all on car, no wheel kerbing, etc, etc. no MFSW will not bother me in the slightest, lacl of rear window tints more of an issue really.

Look nice that does, still under warranty so thats some benefit.  C

check the reg and which dealer it was bought from (was going to say serviced if it has been yet) and ask them what its been in for - they normally tell you - warranty work etc.

If its a local Leicester car will most likely be VW Parkway in Leicester

Hi folks,
Still stiiting on the sidelines, maybe its just me but in my mind I think that is more like a 16 grand car all things considering. It is old model, prices have been over inflated (but are now coming down)  and too close to s3 money. The money in my pocket is not burning a hole yet, I think the coming months will bring a correction to prices, the market will slow as it normally does in the winter and dealers will have to reduce prices to sell cars.

At the moment i am running my mums citroen c2 VTS, what a crock that thing is, however i am forever grateful to her
