Steel Grey Edition 30 Update: 31-8-14

:party:Just put down a deposit on a very clean Edition 30 today.

Steel grey with 60k on the clock.
Rear parking sensors
sunroof

kinda wish it had sat nav fitted but will just need to retrofit one now.
just got to pick it up from near leeds on Monday or Tuesday hopefully.

Looks good Ross - sunroof is a nice option. Many other options other than the rear parking sensors?

As you say, the Sat Nav can be retrofitted - exactly what I did with mine. Made a very worthwhile update to the car.
Is yours DSG or manual? I was looking for a manual, and ended up with a DSG - was really surprised by how well it drove!

Either way, bet you can't wait to collect it!

Its a manual. Could have bought a dsg one 10x over but after driving am r32 one I wasn't really a fan.

Can't wait to pick it up. Gonna take a half shift on monday and travel down  :driver:

My friends a mastertech at my local vw dealership so he's going to run the chassis number and check for any recalls etc.

But will ask about the plaque aswell cheers

This one won't be there for long. Tomorrow it'll be up in fife scotland.

Candy white and steel grey are my favourite.
Cars got wife approval as she'll be driving it more than me when the bairn comes along in november.

Isn't gonna stop a bcs exhaust and a stage 1 map going on it though :signLOL:

Small update

Bought a OEM smooth front grill tonight for when my private plate goes on.
Also rear wheel bearing has gave up the ghost but getting repaired under warranty tomorrow  :smiley:

Other than that just been driving it and loving it. Done nearly 1000 miles already :driver:

Shame about the wheel bearing, at least it's gone under warranty  :happy2:

Well done for getting out and enjoying it, too many people on here scared to put a few miles on and enjoy their motors  :laugh:
