Interior treats
« on: May 19, 2014, 05:33:16 pm »
Looking to buy a few little treats for the new motor such as seat inserts / chrome tipped switches etc / possibly footwell lights and dome lights etc.. Where is the best place to buy all these things from as i know Bold sport sell these and also eBay. Are they all the same no matter where you get the from as i've seen people mentioning chinese copies etc.. Are these as reliable as "the real deal" from the likes of VW dealerships.

Thanks,
Carl.

Seat inserts - Ebay
Chrome switches - Bold Sport
LED Lights - Matt does a full kit of interior and number plate LEDs that look really smart for £20 to forum members
Also I ordered some replacement chrome tipped knobs for my climate control module too (the old climatronic not the digital one) from Ebay and they were spot on.

Is there any actually difference between the chrome tipped switches etc from eBay and Bold sport? As in are they temperamental? Are they just as reliable? Fault codes  pop up at all or anything like that?

Any pics of interior LEDs? Mate had mentioned these but I've never seen any pics.

^^^^ Yeap, that's him, might be cheaper to get the set if you email him and mention the forum. IIRC the complete interior set and number plate LED's are only £20.

Def get the LED's from Matt (top bloke), all the chrome tipped switches (inc main headlight switch) from Boldsport and seat insets from eBay.

You can wrap of dip your interior bits too. Look great IMO, check out my build thread for Hyrdo Dipped dash bits.
