Jeeez, would have caused a bit of a bang  :surprised:

If it was a result of inclusions within the wheel casting, then I'm sure VW will be stepping up their NDT procedures...

Pretty much what I said on the R forum, along with "if they make these in 2 years time I will be ordering one to replace the 7R hatchback", a rapid "Golf Club Carrier"  :grin:
