Brilliant, there's been some great Police publicity vehicles in the past, think my favorite has to be the RS200 from back in the day.

Nice, there have been some good ones over the years.

I think Italy have got a new huracan to replace their gallardo, but it's normally used for organ transport rather than police work. And then you have the UAE where every police car is a supercar

Meh... try something with a bit of power:

Shadow blue DSG 5 door with leather, sunroof, 18" Monzas, MFSW.
Full list of mods:  Seat inserts and a VW bottle opener.  Each worth 20bhp.

Bit pointless imo would take ten minutes to get out if someone bailed on foot

Can the handling really be used on the road? I bet they would still call in the chopper in a pursuit so basically a ford focus can do the same job lol

Probably bollocks but I recently read somewhere that a evo out ran a helicopter and cars on the m1 as the helicopters top speed is 120mph?? evo is 180 mph top speed.

What's the top speed on the go kart (atom)

it's something to do with talking to bikers, they are more likely to listen to a copper who is riding another bike or driving something with similar characteristics...

It's publicity rather than anything else. Gets a message out from the Police (as it seems to be doing here) that they're concentrating on speeding and will touch a nerve with a few people. Also, it's publicity for Atom who are releasing their new bike sometime soon. The car will be dragged out for open days, displays, etc. and will turn up at biker meets where they'll have a chat with bikers about speed, rather than being used in earnest to catch speeding bikers.
Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.

Just because you think you know something, doesn't make you an expert if you've just read it on the internet, y'know.
