Stage 2 remap- dsg?
« on: June 16, 2014, 09:33:30 pm »
Hi all
I'm booked in to r-tech on Wednesday for a stage 2 remap.
My hard wear BCS TBE, evome filter and eurojet FMIC. What so of power am I looking to be getting?

How much extra is the dsg remap? And is it worth doing?

Thanks Gary

If it's an Eddy, you'll see around 330bhp and yes you should get your DSG mapping too if your planning on adding loads of torque. You want see much more power without a HPFP but it's no about figures, its about who the power is delivered.

Phone Ben, he's the price meister or check their website, probably VERY reasonable (read cheap) if their map prices are anything to go by.

It's just a normal GTI.

Anyone got a rough ball park figure for the dsg map?

It's just if I can justify the extra cost for the dsg as well

Great service yesterday. :notworthy:

Figures from the map:
262.9 bhp and 322.68 ft/lbs

Not to bad for a AXX engine.

The car is totally transformed, instant useable power enhanced by the DSG map as well :happy2:

Great results there mate. What i dont understand is how Revo can say that their map will take my GTi (AXX) with induction kit right up to 260bhp???
