Me too Tom! this is really sounding like its gonna be a Great Road Trip.  :driver: Great suggestion route there too Red. I reckon 8hrs drive is good (with redbull/coffee).  Is someone gonna take charge on planning this trip?

(also, I know its well off topic but i didn't want to start a new thread....I have searched everywhere, but I can't find the guy that was selling the new PSP go's. Anyone know who it was??? thanks)

....

Suggestion only : -

- 1st overnight in Chunnel vicinity or within easy reach.

- Day drive to Munich.

- 2nd overnight in Munich.

- Day drive via Stelvio etc to Worthersee.

- 3rd overnight at Worthersee.

- Day at Worthersee.

- 4th overnight at Worthersee.

- Day drive to Nurburgring.

- 5th overnight at Nurburgring.

- Day on Nordschleife but could be more than one day.

- 6th or 7th overnight at Nurburgring.

- Drive your own way home!

We would have to check which days the Nordschleife would be open to us and plan accordingly.

HTH

I like the sound of all this.

Just my thoughts though, i would really like 2 or 3 days in heaven at the ring, Beautiful towns and mountain passes would no doubt be great but my dreams are of  tyre squeal and cries of oh sh*t!!!  :innocent:   :jumping:

I'm just not up for staying a night in the Calais area. I've hardly stretched my legs at Calais!

....

Suggestion only (revised) : -

- 1st overnight in Chunnel vicinity or within easy reach - For those who want to break their UK journey.

- * Day drive to Chur [I'm assuming Chur is on the way to Stelvio] - Early morning Chunnel crossing.

- 2nd overnight in Chur.

- Day drive (via Stelvio etc ?) to Worthersee.

- 3rd overnight at Worthersee.

- Day at Worthersee.

- 4th overnight at Worthersee.

- Day drive to Nurburgring.

- 5th overnight at Nurburgring.

- Day on Nordschleife but could be more than one day.

- 6th / 7th / 8th or however many overnights at Nurburgring - Some may wish/need to leave earlier than others.

- Drive your own way home via Amsterdam or Spa or not < whatever is feasible for you.

We would have to check which days the Nordschleife would be open to us and plan accordingly.

* I suggest we all meet either at the Chunnel terminus Folkestone or at a prearranged services shortly after leaving Calais. Some of us would meet the evening before crossing the Channel.

Definately more the merrier mate! You need to get to the Ring mate, I went in October and I have been having withdrawal symptons everyday since!  :sad1:

As for the misses, I am gonna hopefully be om my own but if Jay and Joe's ladies come there is no way I will get away with it. If she does come she'll be fine, she knows the point of The Nurburgring is to get you car round in a quick and safe manner so if she has a problem with that she wont get in  :happy2:
