I'm starting to be of the opinion that VW are up their own a$$ when it comes to customer service, by far the poorest of dealers from all the makes I've owned.
Booked weeks ago a Minor Service through the VW website with collection and return to save having to mess around trying to get our less than month old baby out to drop the car off etc. Confirmation email all good.
Day arrives (Friday) and no one shows. Phone the dealer who have no record of the booking and tbh were downright standoffish. They agreed they would do it today but we would have to drop off. So have all the hassle of sorting the little one and having to take 2 cars there and the dealer is in another town.
Took in the printed email confirmation when it was dropped off and suggested as it was our first experience with their dealership and the failure of VW uk website that they should compensate towards the extra hassle and fuel for having to bring another car. They might as well have said fcuk off to our face.
Absolutely disgusted with the service and won't be using them again.
Also what a stupid idea of being able to do it through the VW website when it clearly doesn't work, should remove the feature.
