cupra-misting up windscreen on 1 side only?

strange thing happened on the way home from my road trip yesterday,i noticed that the wipers were on it wipes ok but a few secs later its soaking again just on the passenger side then inside starts misting up on this side only?
the aircon only removes this misting up only not any heating
so the outside keeps getting wet which then causes the inside to mist up,wheres it coming from?
the things ive done lately
taken off the sound proofing under bonnet to check for leaks,now this is saggier than before
cleaned down the wiper arms and under the bonnet latches cos they were caked in leaves and crud
had the fmic and revo intake changed
any thoughts on this guys its doing my head in grrr

It can make window misting worse if it's clogged up    think mine must've been nearly 18months ago now too thinking about it

Dirty window makes it worse as the moisture can 'cling' to the dirt

Well I've just whipped the pollen filter out,it was a bit dirty but not blocked :)
I pulled a few clips off the bonnet insulation to see a lot of condensation at the front of the bonnet also,its quite wet all over tbh,do you think this is the cause?

The leon bonnet is horrendous for letting water in & it always sits in the soundproofing. People have tried various sealants anywhere around the underside of the scuttle that look like they could let water in.

i did drive in the heavy,i mean heavy thunder storms so my cold air feed probably sucked a bit up aswell lol
its the first time ive seen water spots/condensation at the front of the bonnet insulation though so maybe it was the extra rain coming through?
ill try and get it off and sealed and hope it gets better
oh and yes the cars always tidy

again this problem has arised grrr:cry:
went for a meal and came back to the car with the whole of the inside of the windscreen misted up?
sat there with the heating on hi with no luck so stuck the aircon on just to clear it enough to drive 10 minutes later
i turned the aircon off half way home for the passenger side to start misting up again,:confused:i cant be doing with this everytime i wanna go out in the cold weather:censored:
any suggestions please?
ive put a ebay pollen filter in it beginning of the year,maybe its not good enough or not fitted well?

It's the time of year mate. Both our cars are misting up constantly.

Best thing you can do is leave the A/C on as it will keep all the windows clear. The 7bhp you lose in running it won't be missed on these wet slippery  roads 

It makes bugger all difference to the MPG too (about 0.4) and keeps the whole A/C system free from mould etc.

What ever you do, make sure your ventilation is set to "fresh air" rather than recirculate, and keep all the vents pointed at the windows and are of course open

Reiterating Gray's points; use the A/C all the time - with heat it will totally de-humidify the interior and windows and more importantly in some ways, keeps the compressor seals lubricated which will save you a shed load of cash replacing it!
The benefits totally outweigh any teeny power loss or petrol consumption.
